![]() So to clarify, KDP say there is no discrepancy in their report, but there might be a discrepancy in other Amazon reports. □ "In this case, I request you contact the Amazon Affiliate team with regards to the sales showing on their dashboard". They did clarify that: "Paperback sales and royalties should show up on your reports as soon as orders fulfilled by Amazon and are shipped".Īnd they added: "Please be informed that there might be a difference in the report shown on Amazon Affiliates versus KDP". Well, Amazon responded and said exactly what you'd expect them to say: "There is no discrepancy in the sales report of your paperback". I've been putting a lot of effort into generating more sales, and it's gutting to think that Amazon might just not be reporting sales of my book and keeping the profit for themselves :( I've sent KDP an email asking why my sales aren't being reported. ![]() So to test, yesterday I ordered two copies of my book to send to family in the UK, and neither of those sales has appeared in my KDP report! Amazon's own reports show conflicting data. Then yesterday I noticed on my Amazon Affiliate account that someone had ordered my book in Canada on April 4, but my KDP report says I've never sold a book in Canada! That's worrying. A sale in the UK never showed on my KDP report, but I figured maybe he just said he'd ordered it to be polite but actually hadn't. I was alerted to a potential problem a few weeks back when a customer in the UK told me he'd ordered my book and was looking forward to reading it. ![]() Has anyone else had cause for concern about the accuracy of their KDP reports and royalties owed to them from Amazon?
